We are glad to present you the 2016 Annual Report of the journal Gland Surgery (GS) here. In 2016, GS has made some progress. The total citation number has significantly increased from 126 in 2015 to 373 in 2016, with a amount of 15,974 times of retrievals in PubMed in Dec. 2016. In addition, five focused issues were published in this year. Moreover, the journal was included in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) and Scopus successively. More information is shown in the Annual Report.
