Dr. Luiz Paulo Kowalski is a Professor of Oncology at University of São Paulo (since 1996), Director of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology, A C Camargo Cancer Center (since 1990). Besides, Dr. Kowalski enjoys joint appointment at University and Sao Paulo and Hospital A C Camargo as Professor of the Post-graduation Courses of Oncology (since 1991).
Dr. Kowalski received his Master and PhD degrees from UNIFESP in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Kowalski holds the membership of many organizations such as the International Academy of Oral Oncology, American Head and Neck Society, Brazilian Head and Neck Surgery Society, Brazilian Society of Otolaryngology and Brazilian College of Surgeons. In addition, he serves as the President of the Brazilian Head and Neck Surgery Society from 2005 to 2007, and the President of the International Academy of Oral Oncology from 2015 to 2017.
Up to now, Dr. Kowalski has authored or co-authored more than 560 peer-reviewed articles (450 in international peer-reviewed journals), 120 book chapters and 10 books, and 3 Thesis.
