Given the very high incidence of cervical lymph node metastases in differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), neck dissection plays more and more important roles in DTC treatment strategies. Dr. Xinying Li from Department of General Surgery, Xiangya Hospital is invited to guest edit a special issue on “Neck Dissection in Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma”, to be published in November Issue of 2013. The aim of this special issue is to critically discuss currently available data regarding neck dissection in differentiated thyroid cancer.
