The editorial office of Gland Surgery is pleased to announce that, effective February 21, 2025, Prof. Bin Ouyang will become the new Associate Editor-in-Chief of Gland Surgery.
Prof. Bin Ouyang has long been responsible for medical affairs management and medical quality control at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. She has received multiple awards for her contributions to hospital management, including the Silver Award for the case titled "Enriching the Connotation of Daytime Services" in the China Hospital Competition on Improving Medical Services in 2019, the Excellence Award in the China Hospital Quality Management Practice in 2020, the Gold Award in the Fifth China Hospital Management Award in the category of "Disciplinary Management" in 2021, and the Fourth Guangdong Provincial Hospital Association Innovation Award for Hospital Management in 2022.
We are excited to have Prof. Ouyang in the position to build on the work of the current editors and to add brilliance to GS, and for the journal to reach new heights.
